Stack Dinner

brown, 1 lb of turkey burger (or very lean hamburger) add 1/2 of a white onion, or my kids like to eat it better with dry chopped onion....season with salt and pepper and drain, if needed
add, 1/2 of a green pepper- chopped (if desired)
add, 1 15 oz can of tomato sauce (this makes the mixture more dry...or you can add another half a can to make it more wet)
add, chili powder, garlic salt and onion salt to taste- probably about a 1/4 tsp of each
Warm for about 4-5 minutes

Serve over brown rice, with frozen peas (thawed, of course) and a sprinkle of cheese
We eat this almost once a week!

Of course, in the past it has been served over regular rice, but not any more! It would probably be really good with diced tomatoes and would serve more people. This recipe yields about 5 good size servings.
